Colts' Special Team vs Jets' Special Teams The kicking games of both teams are quite solid. Colts' kicker Mike Vanderjagt has made 14 of 15 field goals, holding the edge over John Hall of the Jets who is 16 of 21. Hunter Smith is ranked #1 the league in punting net average followed closely by Jets punter Tom Tupa in third place. Colts were beaten on a trick play in the kicking game. It looked to me like a busted field goal attempt rather than a set play, but nevertheless, it allowed the Bears to continue their drive which ended ultimately in a TD. This is simply unacceptable. Punt and kick coverage has been steady if not stellar, but where the Colts have lacked real punch this year is in the kick and punt return game. Terrence Wilkins returns to his role as primary returner this week.Hopefully this will result in a shorter field for the offense to work with. Advantage:
