Colts Offense vs Jaguars Defense

Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. It's such a simple concept: don't let the other team have the ball when you are on offense. Giving your opponent the chance to score on a shortened field makes it very difficult to win games. The past two games, the Colts have started an alarming trend giving their opponents more chances to score than they deserve. It's time for this trend to go out of style!

I think for the Colts this week the recipe for victory on offense is just this simple: don't turn the ball over on offense and execute your gameplan. The Colts have proven that they can score bushel baskets of points and in many different ways. But what they have lacked to this point is the killer instinct, the drive to pour it on and keep the pressure on the opponent to score on every possession or risk falling farther and farther behind. I don't beleive the game this week against the Jags will be a blowout by any stretch of the imagination, but I do think that the Colts would be well served to take the attitude that they will be a relentless scoring machine for sixty minutes. We can take alot of pressure off our defense simply by executing well on offense, taking time away from their offense and pushing the score higher and higher.
