Football is a game of simple grace and power, grit and glory unleashed in small explosions. It's poetry in motion. Fast forward, that is. The 'Shoe doesn't need pages of stat-crunching analysis to find the essence of the game. 17 weeks. 17 syllables. That's all we need.  Beat that, ESPN.

Trap game, letdown game.
Call it whatever you want,
Colts hold serve at home.

Two weeks to rest up
Two weeks to ready a plan
Long day for longhorns.

Equine and bovine
tussle on fake plastic grass.
No grazing allowed.

Lined up in the slot,
Do you know where Dallas is?
Deep in Texan's zone.

Yes, it's official.
Dungy's no fan of replay.
Colts will challenge rule.

Horseshoe likes replay
Get rid of the peep-show booth
