Football is a game of simple grace and power, grit and glory unleashed in small explosions. It's poetry in motion. Fast forward, that is. The 'Shoe doesn't need pages of stat-crunching analysis to find the essence of the game. 17 weeks. 17 syllables. That's all we need.  Beat that, ESPN.

Some things never change.
Colts get comfy with the lead.
It costs them the game.

Neither wind nor rain
should rattle the boys in blue.
Last Sunday, it did.

Football mantra goes:
Run the ball and stop the run.
Colts could do neither.

Bad weather, big lead.
Second half, Colts run four times?
So much for balance!

Jags miss late field goal,
Colts run three times to kill clock.
First down wins the game!!

Without Harrison,
Colt wideouts were forgotten.
Let Reggie make plays.

One bad loss, Colt fans
pee down their collective legs.
Chill. Colts will be fine.

Forty one reasons
to have revenge on their minds.
Ground and pound the Jets.
