Defensively, the Colts have improved the run defense that gave up 108 yards to the Patriots combination of
rookie Kevin Faulk and veteran Terry Allen on the ground. Allen has taken the brunt of the Patriots ground game
with 690 yards on 188 carries, including 7 TD's. Faulk has carried 65 times for only 223 yards, producing only one
TD. The Colt pass defense has been suspect despite yielding only a tad over 207 yards per game in the air. Many of those yards were gained in the late stages of games, making for some thrilling (and stressful) moments for the Colt faithful. The Patriot air attack is strong and will be a factor the Colts must game plan for in order to keep in
check.
