Sunday Came, Sunday Went
by Jim Ogden
Sunday came,
Sunday went.
Where were the colts?
Frozen in cement.
Do they get off the plane,
the day of the game,
their heads in space-
they drive me insane.
Peyton's confused,
Edgerrin plays afraid.
If it wasn't for Marvin
the offense wouldn't get paid.
Tony Tony Tony
Are you snake-bit?
The offense is worse
and the defense doesn't hit
Keep playing this way,
you'll stay in town.
For L.A. won't want a loser
and you won't be worth a pound.

I welcome your submissions. They are loads of fun to
write. I am using the 5-7-5 form, meaning the haiku should
consist of three lines, the first line being five syllables
long, the second being seven syllables, and the third five.
